Jacey’s Grad Party @ Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii

Posted by on Sep 9, 2012 in Graduations | 0 comments

Jacey’s super fun popcorn theme grad party at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii was poppin’ hot!  Loved the colorful popcorn buffet bar set-up with so many yummy flavors with cleaver and fun names to choose from like . . . prime rib (end cut), raging crab (spicy crab), kalakoa (random mix), mama mia (parmesan & garlic), dah werks (baked potato with everything on it), and even a Punahou School color blend of buff & blue (furikake, mochi crunch and m&ms)!  Plus there were pupus, a nice luncheon buffet and some ono banana mochi and seasoned pretzels! Adorable homemade cake & marshmallow pops were the party favors!  Centerpieces were bright blue popcorn boxes filled with a bed of popcorn with more of those cake/marshmallow pops “popping” out of the box.  To determine the recipients of the centerpieces, each centerpiece was placed in the middle of the table and the first person to touch it was the winner.  What a sight to see everyone “pop” out of their seats to reach it – lol! Wonderful family and friends kept The Booth busy throughout the party as they popped in and out until the presentation of the great slideshow honoring Jacey (which turned out to be perfect planning & timing on their part)!  Thanks to all of you for stopping by for some fun memory-making moments.  Below are a few photos of some of those “moments” captured with more on our Facebook page.  We invite you to “LIKE” us on our Facebook page where you can tag and comment on all the photos. Thank you so much for having us be a part of celebrating this very special milestone in Jacey’s life!  It was a great way to top off the graduation season!  Congratulations Jacey – we wish you continued success when you “pop” in at Santa Clara University and in all your future endeavors! With much aloha, Val & Kim 🙂     Share...

Micah’s Grad Party @ Palolo Hongwanji

Posted by on Aug 11, 2012 in Graduations | 0 comments

Many warm and friendly family & friends came out to celebrate Micah’s achievements and graduation from Roosevelt High School! The Palolo Honwanji hall was festively decorated with red and yellow balloons and glass centerpieces were filled to the brim with sweet treats! Everyone enjoyed all the ono kine grinds (and believe me there was a lot)!  One of my fav was the beef steak – it was so tender & tasty and the desserts were yummo too! Up on the stage, music entertainment was provided by a DJ spinning cool tunes and an ongoing slideshow honoring Micah played throughout the party. The Booth was also there providing lots of photo booth fun, entertainment and laughs for all!  Mahalo to everyone that came by to create some lasting memories – you were great!  Below are a few photos taken at Micah’s party for you to enjoy.  More pics can be seen on our Facebook page where you are free to tag, comment and even “LIKE” us. It was really nice to see Micah surrounded by lots of supportive family and friends who came out early to set-up and also stayed to the end to help “breakdown” and clean up the hall!  A HUGE mahalo to all the guys who even gave us a helping hand as we unloaded/loaded up our equipment too! Congratulations Micah and we wish you all the best as you continue to further your education at University of Hawaii at Manoa to pursue a career in psychology! With much aloha, Val & Kim 🙂  ...

Charmaine’s Grad Party @ Hawaii Okinawa Center

Posted by on Aug 10, 2012 in Graduations | 0 comments

Charmaine’s party was our very first graduation party booked from last year and we were thrilled that the day had finally arrived!  The room was full of excited family and friends all ready to join in the celebration at the Hawaii Okinawa Center. The happiest of all flowers . . . sunflowers was the theme and like Charmaine, are bright, warm and cheery!  Everything had touches of sunflowers from her beautiful invitation to the party decor down to all the lovely details!  At the reception table there was the pretty sunflower painted mailbox with a Pacific University Oregon pennant attached to the flag of the mailbox along with a bouquet of balloons.  Some other favorites of mine were on the cookie buffet . . . the round die-cut scalloped “labels” made to look like flowers, the bands of ribbon around the assortment of cookie jars, the ribbon-tied tongs, and a sweet thank you message with a sunflower label attached to the bags for the cookie treats made it all look extra special!  Bright yellow and chocolate colored balloons added splashes of color and got along quite happily with the centerpieces – a blue tinted cylinder vase tied with raffia with a single sunflower sitting inside on a bed of glass stones.  And, those popular mini hand sanitizers were wrapped in yellow and brown organza pouches made cute favors! Erwin Soria of Slideshow Specialists, Inc. produced the cool slideshow, djayed and even entertained the guests with some games and gave out prizes too!  One game was who could text a message to Charmaine the fastest.  An awesome singer and amazing dancers performed and entertained as well. At this event we brought along a few new 3D-ish props which was not only a hit but complemented the flower fields backdrop and party theme perfectly!  The bubbles, “bouquet” of balloons and sunflowers in the foreground added a fun and whimsical touch!  Guests were more than happy to take home photo keepsakes that captured some of the fun moments that they had at Charmaine’s party!  Thanks to everyone that came through the photo booth – you guys were great!  If you haven’t already done so, we invite you to visit us on Facebook where you can view the photos, tag, comment, and even like us. Charmaine a graduate of St. Francis School will be attending Pacific University in Oregon to pursue a career in pharmacy.  Thank you so much Charmaine for inviting us to be a part of your wonderful celebration!  Congratulations Charmaine – we wish you a sunny future as bright as can be! With much aloha, Val & Kim 🙂    ...

Oh what a night!  The Booth was invited to be a part of Michon’s graduation party held at the Newtown Recreation Center.  Michon, together with her wonderful family and friends, celebrated with great food, great dancing, great music, and the greatest studio style photo booth in town! The hall was nicely decorated with cute pom pom flowers and green & white balloons.  Bottles of apple cider topped with silver, green & white curling ribbons and a personalized bottle label with a “filmstrip” of adorable photos of Michon served as centerpieces and delicious mochi for favors! Everyone was treated to a real feast . . . Kat’s Sushi was there with two live sushi stations and then Tanioka‘s rolled in with their ono hawaiian kine grinds!  There was also a buffet table full of other yummy pupus and desserts too – I’m getting hungry just thinking about it! Michon a graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute is one talented young lady!  She has been a part of Drill Team Hawaii for the past 13 years and is an accomplished dancer!  Michon and other Drill Team Hawaii members performed and entertained a full house of guests and they were wonderful!  The video/slideshow honoring Michon was awesome and I loved the “soundtrack!” We had constant traffic flowing through the photo booth all evening long.  Everyone was having a really great time and we loved adding more fun and laughter to the celebration!  We’ve posted a handful of photos below and the rest can be seen on our Facebook page where you can tag, comment and like us. Natural Vibrations also joined the party with their pop/rock/tropical feel-good beats reggae style music that had guests dancing till the end of the night! We were thrilled to capture a lot of special moments between Michon’s family and friends before she continues her journey into college life at Creighton University to become a Pharmacist.  Congratulations Michon we wish you all the best! With warmest aloha, Val & Kim Share...

Posted by on Jun 23, 2012 in Graduations | 0 comments

Christian’s celebration kicked off our first graduation party of the season!  Before party time, folks were busy decorating the hall with balloons and setting the tables with favors and beautiful ipu centerpieces. Everything looked festive with the green table coverings along with the pop of color from the green and white balloons down to the green colored punch! Christian a graduate from Mid-Pacific Institute was showered with leis and congratulatory wishes as he greeted and welcomed his guests!  The hall was filled to da max with family and friends who came to celebrate Christian’s achievements and to just hang loose and have some fun! The sounds of Union, a three member group, provided the awesome music entertainment.  Loved hearing some of those classic oldies but goodies!  It was a real treat to see a dance performance by Christian and his friends – so much talent in one room!  There was also a slideshow presentation which was pretty cool too! The Booth was a hit!  Everyone enjoyed the great selection of props which added even more excitement and fun to our studio style photo booth!  Some brand-spanking new props were added from a baseball cap with “grad” embellishments, an inflatable football helmet to a few more cool shades!  There are always folks who wish they could take our props home with them.  And, then there are the cute young ones who don’t want to take them off (lol)!  Yup it’s safe to say that our props are well-loved.  If you came through the photo booth, we thank you for all the fun and laughs you brought!  For those who were a little camera shy, we hope you enjoyed watching the Live Slideshow of all the photos as they were being taken in our studio style photo booth!  We invite you to visit us on Facebook where you can tag and comment on all the fun pics and we’d love if you would “like” us too! With graduation parties in full swing, The Booth will be busy with its share of helping to create memories to last a lifetime and having a blast doing so! Thank you so much for having us!  We wish you all the best Christian as you pursue a career in engineering at The Universty of Hawaii – we know you’ll do great things!
